A Time for Us

Overall, our stay was great and we really enjoyed the property. There were just a few things that could be improved.

First, the two upstairs bathrooms don't have any place to put soap or shampoo in the showers. We had to set everything on the floor, which wasn't ideal. Even a couple of inexpensive shower caddies hanging from the shower heads would make a big difference.

Second, I wasn't happy that the trash wasn't picked up during our stay. It was only collected after checkout, so it filled up quickly. I don't think guests should have to call to request trash pickup while on vacation. The whole idea is to relax without having to contact management for routine services.

We did have to call once because the ceiling in the first-floor master bedroom was leaking water. Also, two of the four pool cues had broken end caps, making them unusable.

Despite these issues, we had a great stay overall. With a few small improvements, this would be an even better vacation rental.

Unlike many residential neighborhoods, vacation cabins in the Gatlinburg area don't receive regular city trash service. Instead, our housekeeping team removes the trash after each departure and transports it to a local disposal facility. For longer stays, we're always happy to arrange an additional pickup upon request, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue looking for ways to make that process even more convenient for our guests. We're also sorry you experienced the ceiling leak during your stay. Thank you for letting us know so our maintenance team could respond, and we'll be replacing the damaged pool cue tips to ensure the game room is ready for future guests. We loved this property! It was clean and exactly as described on Vrbo. Our grandkids loved the indoor pool, game room, and theatre. Checking in and out was very easy. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to our friends.
